This is the third P90X program created by Tony Horton and is one of the most advanced program I’ve done in the Beachbody library. The workouts are 30-minutes long and you complete one per day. Once again, as with many programs there is a tonne of variety – a different workout every single day. In typical Tony Horton fashion there is a really nice mix of Mixed Martial Arts (MMX), Yoga, Pilates, and strength based workouts to challenge you and push you out of your comfort zone. This program is perfect for someone who has a solid base of fitness and strength and is looking for a “next step” to improve their athleticism. I found this program dramatically improved my running performance. If you’re a runner or athlete, seriously consider this program for off-season training OR as a hybrid with your in-season training. I personally created a hybrid that enabled me to train for a 1/2 marathon while doing this program and had wonderful results (a personal best in my 1/2 marathon).
