My nutrition philosophy is quite simple. Eat food that nourishes your body 80-90% of the time and allow the 10-20% to be “wiggle room” for foods that nourish your spirit (think: birthday cake or a glass of wine with a friend). Food is a fundamental part of our culture – we can’t ignore that, but we can become more aware of our nutrition – become conscious eaters. When we can move away from the all or nothing diet mentality and eat to nourish – to give the cells of our body the nutrients it needs it will reward us with energy, vitality & health.
