Learn to Run
Do you want to learn to run for fitness OR participate in an upcoming road race? This 12-week progressive program will take you from walking to running. Whether you’re completely new to running or getting back to it, this program is for you. The program is designed around 3 workouts per week. One session per week will be completed as a group and 2 homework sessions will be completed on your own. Each weekly session will also include a short education session designed to provide participants with the info you need to achieve your goal of running with confidence. Topics covered will include but are not limited to: proper footwear, stretching, injury prevention & management, strength training, core strength, basic nutrition, racing nutrition & hydration.
Pre-requisite: No running experience required! Participants should be comfortable walking at a quick pace for 45 minutes to start.
Clinic Fee: $150+GST
