Learn to Run

Do you want to learn to run for fitness OR participate in an upcoming road race? This 12-week progressive program will take you from walking to running. Whether you’re completely new to running or getting back to it, this program is for you. The program is designed around 3 workouts per week. One session per week will be completed as a group and 2 homework sessions will be completed on your own. Each weekly session will also include a short education session designed to provide participants with the info you need to achieve your goal of running with confidence. Topics covered will include but are not limited to: proper footwear, stretching, injury prevention & management, strength training, core strength, basic nutrition, racing nutrition & hydration.

Pre-requisite: No running experience required! Participants should be comfortable walking at a quick pace for 45 minutes to start.

Clinic Fee: $125+GST and includes the Super You Learn to Run e-book as well as a technical top!

Learn to Run 10k Dates & Details:

Dates: Thursdays at 7pm, Jan 18 – Apr 5

Location: Frontrunners Nanaimo (1825 Bowen Road)

Potential Goal Events: Vancouver Sun Run (Apr 22), Times Colonist 10k (Apr 29), Mothers Day 10k (May 13), Oak bay 10k (May 27), Goddess Run 10k (June 3)

Learn to Run 8k Dates & Details:

Dates: Thursdays at 7pm, July 19 – Oct 4

Location: Frontrunners Nanaimo (1825 Bowen Road)

Potential Goal Events: Good Life Fitness Victoria Marathon 8k (Oct 7), Miracle Beach 10k (Oct 14)*, Cowichan Classic 10k (Oct 21)*, Cinnamon Bun Fun Run 5k or 10k (Dec 2)*

Refund Policy:

Due to the high demand and limited space in Super You Run Clinics all clinic registrations are non-transferable and non-refundable. Exceptions will be made for medical reasons with a doctors note.
