All of the following routes start from the Bastion in downtown Nanaimo.
From the Bastion head south to connect onto the paved path along the Harbourfront. Take the Harbourfront walkway all the way to it’s end at the Marina and turn LEFT to connect onto Stewart Ave. Follow Stewart Ave to Townsite and turn RIGHT. Turn LEFT on Millstone. LEFT on Bradley. RIGHT on Wall. LEFT on Comox. RIGHT on Wallace. LEFT on Bastion, LEFT on Chapel. Follow to Front. LEFT on Front. Follow onto Comox and RIGHT into Maffeo Sutton Park. Connect onto the Harbourfront walkway headed SOUTH and follow back to the Bastion.
From the Bastion head south to connect onto the paved path along the Harbourfront. Take the Harbourfront walkway all the way to it’s end at the Marina and turn LEFT to connect onto Stewart Ave. Follow Stewart Ave to Townsite and turn RIGHT. Follow Townsite to Bowen. LEFT on Bowen down to the soccer fields (on left). Cut into Bowen park on trail behind Soccer fields and follow DOWN through park to Millstream Parkway (road inside park). Follow to Wall Street. RIGHT on Wall – cross over Bowen to Machleary. Follow Machleary. LEFT on Fitzwilliam. Follow to Bastion. Turn RIGHT onto Front and hook onto the Harbourfront Walkway for about 300m to hit 10k.
From the Bastion head south to connect onto the paved path along the Harbourfront. Take the Harbourfront walkway all the way to it’s end at the Marina and turn LEFT to connect onto Stewart Ave. Follow Stewart Ave to Townsite and turn RIGHT. Follow Townsite to Bowen. RIGHT on Bowen all the way to Northfield Road. RIGHT on Northfield to connect onto E&N Trail. Follow E&N south to Cypress. LEFT on Stewart and RIGHT to connect to Harbourfront Walkway. Follow Walkway back to Bastion.
From the Bastion head south to connect onto the paved path along the Harbourfront. Take the Harbourfront walkway all the way to it’s end at the Marina and turn LEFT to connect onto Stewart Ave. Follow Stewart Ave to Townsite and turn RIGHT. Follow Townsite to Bowen. RIGHT on Bowen all the way to the highway and turn RIGHT onto the E&N Trail. Follow E&N all the way south to Cypress Street and take Cypress back down onto the Harbourfront Walkway. Return along the Walkway.
