It’s summer and my kids LOVE popsicles (frankly, so do I)! I don’t however LOVE all the dyes and chemicals in MOST popsicles. But smoothies freeze beautifully and make great pops (with some nutritional value). Here are some sweet combinations to try (fills a tray of 4):

  • Very Cherry (pictured here): 1 veggie juice box, 1/2C frozen cherries, 1/2C frozen strawberries, 1/2 frozen banana
  • Funky Monkey: 1C unsweetened coconut milk, 1T honey, 1T cocoa, 1.5 frozen bananas
  • Green Monster: 1/2 C frozen pinapple, 1/2 frozen banana, 1/2C fresh spinach, water to cover
