Love a good old classic summer bbq meal of steak & frites? Want to make it a little healthier? You can! It’s all about getting creative AND minding your portions!  

Season your steak with pink salt & pepper and serve up your deck of cards sized portion with home fries and “ceasar” salad:

Home Fries: cut a potato with a mandolin & bake at 450F with a quick spray of olive oil, S&P

Healthy Ceasar: Mix together – one head of chopped romaine, Tahini Dressing (from Food Babe) and Homemade GF croutons. #yum

For the dressing: blend the following
Juice of one large lemon
1 garlic clove minced
½ cup water
½ cup raw tahini
1 tsp maple syrup
1 tbsp and 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 and ½ tsp Bragg
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin
2 tbsp olive oil
¼ tsp sea salt

GF croutons: I took 2 slices of GF whole grain bread (any whole grain bread would do!), cubed them and pan fried them at low heat after a quick spray of coconut oil, garlic powder, onion powder, S&P.
